A Rolls-Royce Cullinan taken darker — the pinnacle of luxury SUVs reworked for a client who wanted nocturnal presence without losing Goodwood's character. The brief asked for a car that still read as Rolls from across a plaza and as something more private up close, its silver roof catching the streetlight while the body vanished beneath it. NERO finished the car in a black and white two-tone, the upper section running silver into a deep jet body, with the waist-line break hand-masked and painted in automotive-grade systems. Every exterior brightwork detail — grille surround, door frames, window trims, boot spear — was taken into a darkened chrome package so nothing broke the two-tone line. A set of custom-forged 24-inch wheels was specified to hold the Cullinan's stance without disturbing the ride height. Inside, a bespoke starlight headliner programme was stitched to the client's pattern, with matched trim carried through the cabin. The paint, darkened chrome, wheel fitment and starlight headliner were executed in-house. The Cullinan beneath is exactly as Crewe delivered it — every change is surface, every surface is deliberate.

The NERO Process

How a NERO build comes together

Every NERO commission begins with a written brief — the car, the direction, reference imagery, any deadline. From that we draft a specification and an indicative quotation, then agree scope before any work begins. Consultations are handled remotely from our London atelier; workshop visits are by invitation only.

In-house design and engineering develop bespoke aero and body panels in premium carbon-fibre composites — splitters, diffusers, widebody fender work, full aero kits. Paint programmes, paint protection film, and vehicle wrapping are executed through a hand-picked specialist network, named on invoice and accountable to NERO's finish standards. Forged wheels are specified from recognised wheel forgers; interior retrim is worked in premium leather and genuine Alcantara with bespoke stitching, perforation, and embossing patterns.

The build is documented from commission to delivery — photography, progress updates, and a finished handover in London. International delivery, CMR paperwork, and enclosed transport are arranged on request.
